How it works

From observation to your next move.

Your competitors publish their strategy every day, in their offers, pages, ads and reviews. We record what they do, read it against your customers and margins, and hand you three moves with an owner and a date.

  • The competitors that matter
  • Evidence with sources and dates
  • Three moves, ranked
Talk to us about Competitor Analysis
  1. Observe

    Everything public, recorded

Everything public, recorded with where we saw it and when. Estimates are labeled as estimates.

    • Each finding tied to a page and a date
    • Their offers, pages and ads side by side
    • Facts kept apart from guesses

OutcomeA findings log you can check

  2. Interpret

Read against your business, not theirs

Each finding read against your customers, your margins and your capacity. Not every move is worth copying.

    • A move you already make and never say
    • A tactic that suits their size, not yours
    • A leak to check before it costs you

    OutcomeThe gaps worth closing

  3. Act

Three moves, an owner each, a date to re-check

The research ends with changes and tests, an owner for each, and the question it couldn’t answer.

    • Ranked by effort and payoff
    • A 60-day test with a measure attached
    • The open question written down, not buried

    OutcomeDecisions made, not decks filed

What’s included

Find your advantage. Make your next move.

The businesses you lose deals to are showing you their playbook every day: their offers, their pages, their ads, their reviews. We read it, compare it to yours and tell you where to push.

Pick the right competitors

The firms you lose customers to and the sites that outrank you aren’t always the same list. We build both and compare against what matters.

  • Business and search competitors
  • Offers, pricing and positioning
  • The questions the research must answer

Analyze what they’re doing

Rankings, content, ads, reviews and conversion paths, recorded with sources and dates so you can trust every claim.

  • Keyword and content gap analysis
  • Ad and landing page teardown
  • Reviews, offers and inquiry journeys

Turn it into moves

Three to five changes ranked by effort and payoff, tied to your business, plus the tests to run and what to check again in six months.

  • Strengths, gaps and openings
  • Prioritized recommendations
  • Tests, owners and re-check dates

What you get

Real deliverables, every month.

  • Competitor set

Who you’re measured against and why: the businesses you lose to and the sites that outrank you.

  • Findings log

Offers, messaging, rankings, content, ads, reviews and conversion paths, each with a source and a date.

  • Gap analysis

Where they beat you, where you beat them, and the openings nobody has taken.

  • Prioritized moves

Three to five changes and tests ranked by effort and payoff, tied to your business.

  • Open questions

What public research can’t settle, and how to find out if it matters.

What to expect

    Recommend

    • Findings compared against your customers and constraints
    • Three to five moves ranked by effort and payoff
    • Tests, owners and what to re-check
  3. Every quarter

    Re-check

    • What changed on their side and yours
    • Retire moves that ran their course
    • Refresh the competitor set as the market moves

Proof over promises

What you’ll see every month.

See how your marketing is performing and where to invest next. Your report connects the work with the measures below, giving you clear priorities for the next month.

  • The decision

What the research was commissioned to settle, and what it recommended.

  • Evidence quality

Findings with a source and date versus estimates and unknowns.

  • Moves taken

Recommendations acted on, and what each one produced.

  • Search overlap

Where you and each competitor appear for the same customer searches.

  • Re-check dates

What to look at again, and when.

A focused project.
Or a monthly plan.

Start with the problem you need solved. A project handles one defined change. A plan puts us on your website, content and campaigns every month.

FAQ

Straight answers.

The questions we hear before a first call about Competitor Analysis. If yours isn’t here, ask it.

Can you see a competitor’s revenue or results?

No. Nobody can see private numbers from the outside, and estimates dressed up as facts are worse than useless. We show you what’s public and observable, estimate where it helps and say so, and keep the two clearly apart.

How many competitors should we include?

Three to five. The ones you lose customers to and the ones that outrank you for the searches that matter. A bigger set makes a longer report and a weaker decision.

What can you actually see about a competitor?

Their pages, offers, rankings, content, ads, reviews and how their inquiry journey works. Not their revenue, conversion rates or ad performance. Anything estimated is labeled.

Is this a one-time project or ongoing?

It’s part of every plan, with a date to re-check the findings, and in fast-moving markets a lighter quarterly review. A one-time analysis for a single decision, outside a plan, is quoted as a project.

Will you tell us to copy what works for them?

No. A move that works for a competitor with a different offer, area or margin can hurt you. Every finding is read against your business, and some get marked "don’t follow."

What happens when I get in touch?

Send us your website and what you want to change. We’ll reply with questions or a proposed scope, and if it helps, a short call. Want the facts first? Request the free website analysis and we’ll review your site before we talk.
