Findings, in the order to fix them

Findings with practical next steps.

  1. Your six service pages share one title/services/
    Fix first
  2. Your contact form asks nothing about the job/contact/
    Fix soon
  3. Homepage images load at full size/
    Worth knowing

Coverage

  • Checked from the public site
  • Needs access to check
An example review of a fictional site. Yours names your pages.

What you get

Your priorities, explained.

Every finding comes with why it matters to your leads and what to do about it.

In your email

  • What’s wrong, in plain English
  • Why it matters to your leads
  • What to fix first, and what can wait
  • What we couldn’t check without access
  1. Fix first/services/

Your six service pages share one title

Why it mattersShared titles make it harder for searchers to distinguish your services when those titles appear in results.

Next actionGive each service page its own title and description that names the service and the area.

  2. Fix soon/contact/

Your contact form asks nothing about the job

Why it mattersEvery lead arrives as a name and a message, so your first reply is spent asking what they wanted.

Next actionAdd service, area and timing fields, and route the lead straight to whoever quotes.

  3. Worth knowing/

Homepage images load at full size

Why it mattersOversized images can delay the page on phones, especially on slower connections.

Next actionServe images at the size they display, in a modern format. One-time fix.

What Lumen checks

Three questions the review answers.

  • Can Google find you?

The technical basics that decide whether you rank at all.

    • Crawlability
    • Page structure
    • Titles
    • Broken links
  • Can visitors convert?

The path from landing on your site to calling or filling in a form.

    • Speed on a phone
    • Accessibility
    • The path to your form
  • What should you fix first?

Everything ranked by its impact on leads, not by how easy it is to find.

    • Ranked by impact
    • Confirmed or needs access

Said up front

What a public review can’t cover

Not knowing isn’t the same as broken, so the review says what it couldn’t see instead of guessing.

  • Pages behind a login, unless you share access later
  • Analytics, search console or advertising data, which need access to read
  • A ranking prediction or a promise about AI citations
  • A full accessibility audit; the review notes the obvious barriers and says where a full audit is warranted

How it works

From a URL to a fix-it list.

Lumen is the auditing tool we built and use on every client site. A person reads what it finds against your goals, so the recommendations reflect your business priorities.

  1. 1

    Send your URL

A public web address is all we need. No logins, no access.

  2. 2

    Lumen scans, a person reviews

Lumen checks the site, and a person reads the results against your goals and separates what we confirmed from what needs access to check.

  3. 3

    You get priorities by email

What’s wrong, why it matters to your leads, and what to fix first. Reviewed in the context of your business.

If we work together

Your review becomes your action plan.

Clients sign into Lumen, our client portal. The audit runs every month, and everything we do for your site is in one place.

  • Your monthly audit and its action plan, in the order to fix things
  • What changed since last month’s audit
  • Every report we send, plus updates and tasks from our team
  • Your search, analytics, Business Profile, call and page speed numbers against last month

Questions

What people ask first.

Is it really free?

Yes. No charge, no obligation, no sales call unless you ask for one. We do it because the best first conversation starts with facts about your site, and this is the fastest way to get them.

Do you need access to my website?

No. A public URL is enough. If a finding needs more than what’s public, we say so, and you decide whether to share access for a deeper look.

Do I get a score?

You get specific findings, their effect on the inquiry journey and a recommended order for addressing them. This gives you a practical starting point.

What do you do with my details?

We use them to review your site and reply to you. That’s it. The privacy policy has the details.
